I’m Jessica, and if you asked me in high school what I wanted to be when I grew up, it wasn’t a photographer. I’m thankful I was wrong about a lot of things! When I married Donovan in 2015 I’d tag along to his photoshoots and pose people while holding phones and sunglasses. I picked up a camera in 2017, and I’ve had one in my hands since. I love capturing moments for people because I know how precious those photographs are. I was 11 when my dad died and I cherish the photos we have of him. I wish I had more. Life is short and we never know when those we love will pass on. Even though Donovan got me into photography, I found a passion because of my dad. Our logo of KEAN is his handwriting. Since becoming a mother I’ve witnessed the other side of photography. He grows SO fast. I never want to forget the stage he’s in. Photos and videos do that.
